Description

Experienced Receptionist required on a fixed term contract (5 days per week until 31/12/2016. Responsibilities: 1. To maintain guest accounts. 2. Provides superior guest service upon check in and check out of each guest. 3. Responds to guest needs and resolves related problems. 4. Handles and operates cash as per established policy and procedures. 5. Maximises occupancy and revenue on a daily basis by actively up selling according to the day’s selling strategy. 6. Reacts to situations to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition through out the Hotel. 7. Ensures that they are knowledgeable on current information on rates, packages and promotions. 8. Attend pre-shift briefing to review all information pertinent to the day's business. 9. Responds to guest needs and resolves related problems. 10. Monitors and maintains service delivered according to the Policies and Procedures Manual. 11. Maintains appropriate standard of conduct, dress, hygiene, professional appearance, adherence to uniform standards and posture at all times. 12. Will be required to work weekend shifts. Qualifications: • Minimum of two years previous Front Office Experience. • Solid knowledge of Front Office Procedures. • Highly organized, with the ability to be flexible with hours, days off, additional assignments and duties. • Must work well under strict timelines. • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
