Our client based in Donegal require an IT Security Analyst for a permanent position. This role can be done on a telecommuting basis. Primary Responsibilities: Perform Vendor information security risk assessment as per the process requirement. Review vendor supplied policies & procedures, responses and associated artifacts. Analyse; evaluate the non-conformances based on remote/onsite evidence review. Collaborate with business partners and vendors to understand & perform the risk assessment to identify the findings. Communicate, escalate, and track vendor progress on assessment activities. Share business risk remediation metrics and dashboard periodically with the stakeholders. Identify program enhancement opportunities based on learning's from assessment performed and recommend ideas for enhancing the process. Recommend process improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with Healthcare Industry best practices, standards and frameworks. Maintain current knowledge on information security topics and their applicability program requirements. Support the process with linkages from Business and sourcing & procurement, Vendor Management teams etc. Ensure vendor compliance to the required policies, procedures, & regulations along with ability to map controls and compliance requirements. Support remediation efforts with business / vendor managers. Ensure alignment of security policies/standards with IT infrastructure frameworks. Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others. Responsibility for maintaining relationships with business leaders/stakeholders. Should be individual contributor & work with the global team to achieve the set target. Essential Criteria: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related discipline OR equivalent experience. At minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical IT/Operational role (either Firewall Admin OR Network Admin OR System Admin. At minimum 2 years’ Audit OR Risk assessment experience. Competencies: Excellent Communications skills both verbally and written. Good presentation skills with the ability to present technology elements in a manner that people can easily follow and act. Excellent Analytical skills. MS Word & Excel experience. Assets/Desirable: CISA/ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer Certification. Working knowledge of HIPPA, PCI-DSS, HITRUST.
