A US MNC based in Donegal is seeking a Legal Analyst to join its Legal Team supporting the Technology and Enterprise Contracts Law group (TEC Law) that is part of the Operations and Systems Legal Group of the U.S. Law Department. Responsibilities: Under attorney supervision, the individual will work independently on vendor contracts and projects, including, but not limited to: Drafting and negotiating on a broad range of contract documents such as speaker agreements, training agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, consulting agreements, purchase orders, engagement schedules and amendments to master agreements, and other miscellaneous contract documents. Contract analysis and review. Company-wide or large scale business unit initiatives that relate to vendor contracting issues (for example, review, analysis and summary of vendor contracting issues associated with Federal Reserve Oversight. Projects related to various other vendor related transactions. Working with template (self-service) contracts for use by business units and corporate groups and oversight of related processes. Responsibility for overseeing, maintaining and tracking contract initiatives, general contract savings, contract audits, contract reporting and contract tracking. Educating stakeholders on contract processes and policies. Responsibility for post-execution contract management and administration. Skills: Displays strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Strong project management skills. Ability to prioritise work effectively and adjust quickly to changing needs. Technology proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Lotus Notes. Ability to work well with attorneys and information technology business personnel, and understand business deal requirements. Ability to identify, analyze and summarize contract terms and conditions and contract issues; Ability to skilfully draft documents, revise agreements and provide general contract advice based on business deal parameters. Ability to balance a large workload and to turn around contracts accurately and in a prompt and timely fashion. Working knowledge of technology business, services and products. Excellent teamwork skills and interpersonal skills. Work hour flexibility - the ability to align work hours to work on US time as needed or required by TEC Law management. Demonstrated strategic thinking. Education/qualifications/previous experience: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Law. 3 years legal-related experience in vendor contracts with law firm, accounting firm or other corporation.
