Our client is currently seeking IT Support professionals to assist with the roll out of a Nationwide Information System. This will cover Donegal. This contract position will involve working closely with company Project Managers to facilitate in the successful implementation of a new Information System with responsibility for installing, testing and validating current infrastructure to ensure smooth readiness for phased launch across the country. Responsibilities: • Check in each laptop and confirm details. • Note collection time and date with user. • Log in as user and check file mappings, printers and software. • Assign relevant Task sheet to laptop and notify rig operators. • Check laptop after completing rig deployment. • Check laptop is named correctly, encrypted and escalate to SM if issues. • Log in as primary user and setup profile. • Check software listing and complete if necessary (SM to provide SOPs. • Check printer setup and configuration as specified. • Update file(s) if required. • Install CD software dongle as per local procedures. • Assign ‘Information Security’ sheet to each laptop for check out. • Handover to user, including advising information and logging in if necessary. • Provide SM with Data sheet for administration follow up. Required Skills / Experience: • Connectivity testing for interfaces & IT Equipment. • Migration / Set up of National Network. • Printer Set Up , Doc Scanning. • LAN Expansion and patching. • Replace / migrate specific. • PC’s /Computers Set up Support Requirements. • Reconfigure and test. • Set up all printers to be accessible from a 3rd party solution provider. • Documentation Scanning.
