They are now looking for a number of Clinical Research Scientists to join their team in Donegal. As a Clinical Research Scientist, you’ll be responsible for supporting our client’s research and development activities. You’ll employ a range of approaches, including design, development, verification and clinical validation, to develop BAT (Biochip Array Technology) diagnostic assays. Our client is carrying out research in a vast array of areas, meaning you’ll have the chance to work on plenty of interesting and challenging projects. Strategic areas of focus within the company include renal disease, oncology, neurodegeneration and gastrointestinal disorders. To be considered, you must have: - A degree (or equivalent), ideally a PhD, in a biomedical or life science related subject. - A demonstrable understanding of immunoassay principles. - Proficiency in MS packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Organised and analytical, as a Clinical Research Scientist, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must also be able to work well, both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team. Experience of immunoassay principles and/or techniques would be beneficial, as would lab experience which includes immunological techniques such as immunoassay development, immunoprecipitation, SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.
