Are you a creative, passionate, hardworking, enthusiastic chef ? We are looking for a head chef to come join our team. This is an exciting hands on role with a “lead from the front” approach. You should be passionate about food & their flavours. At least 3 years experience working as a head/senior chef in a busy, fast paced environment. Candidate Requirements: We are looking for an experienced head chef to run a busy kitchen, to lead and direct a team in the kitchen. Take responsibility of all food production, costs, quality & service. Must be able to work on own initiative. Detailed knowledge of HACCP and its implementation procedures. Knowledge of current food trends & seasonal local produce. Excellent organisation with good communication & motivational skills essential for this role. Fluent English, excellent management and presence. Role Requirements: -Managing a busy bar/ restaurant. -Ensure menu pricing are in line with financial budget. -Negotiate supplier arrangements for food and beverage products. -Ensure waste control measures are in place. -Ensure high quality service and food. -Manage labour costs effectively. -Review trends and adjust offers accordingly. -Agree budget and comply. -Develop, motivate and train the team to deliver business requirements.
