Financial Controller Retail. Excellent opportunity to join the finance function of a rapidly expanding Group, as Financial Controller of the group, based in Donegal. Reporting to the Group Managing Director, and managing a small team, role will be hands on across all areas of the business. Responsibilities: Financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation. Management reporting - preparation of a management reporting pack with analysis and commentary on KPI's, for internal management decision making purposes. Leading the budgeting and forecasting process. Working capital management, cash-flow management, apex management. Stock Control, systems development. Strategic planning - developing and implementing strategies for further business development. and expansion, margin improvement, and cost containment. Ad-hoc projects and support to MD. Requirements: Qualified Accountant, with relevant PQE and hands-on experience at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level within a growing entrepreneurial environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to develop strong relationships with sales, and operations staff. Experience in Retail/Owner-Occupied SME beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in an fast pace environment. Delegates responsibility effectively. Excellent people manager, open to collaborative workstyle environment and commitment to get the job done. High comfort level working in a diverse role.
