Our client is currently looking for a Senior Resident Engineer to work on a DBO WTP in Donegal.   Main Responsibilities: ·Liaison with and Reporting to the Employer’s Representative. ·Liaison and management of other members of the Resident Engineering team. ·Deal with contractual matters on site. ·Coordinating Contract interfaces. ·Liaison with Stakeholders. ·Review Contractor design submissions against Employers Requirements and preparation of clear comments. ·Supervision of the works, keeping records, measuring, managing correspondence, and contractual documentation. Review of Contractors proposals for commissioning the works and each element thereof. ·Monitoring the commissioning of the works and process provin. Assessment of Contractor claims and writing reports on same. ·Assessment of Contractor payment applications against work completed; · Assessment of Contractor performance against Contractual KPI’s; Assessment of Contractor submissions including method statements and preparation of clear comments. ·Other duties as may be assigned.   Key Requirements: ·Hold a degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification in Engineering. ·Have at least 10 years satisfactory post graduate experience of which at least 7 years was in on-site supervision, contract administration and project management of works preferably in the field of water/wastewater. Experience in supervision of commissioning of Water/wastewater WTPs. ·Attention to detail and ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems is essential. Ability to work as part of a team and manage a team of Resident Engineer. ·Be capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records. ·Be proficient in the use of computers in relation to document handling and production of reports. ·Have a satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts;   Salary will depend on experience.    .
