A Moulding Process Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Donegal based client. THE ROLE: * Assist in design and development of new and existing products, machines and ancillary equipment, and in manufacturing methods. * Establish processes and manufacturing methods for existing and new products. * Liaise with all relevant personnel to ensure all documentation and drawings are correct and in place. * Make recommendations for the improvement of processing within the moulding department which includes scrap reduction, yield improvements, downtime etc. * Provide production support by trouble-shooting process product and manufacturing related problems. * Lead and assist in assigned project groups in all areas related to manufacturing. * Adopt management philosophies, e.g., GMP, TQM, Health and Safety, etc., and assist in their adoption by all employees. * Assist in the training and development of the moulding technical operators. * Perform any other duties relating to the Process function as assigned by the moulding manager. REQUIREMENTS: * Third level qualification - National Diploma in Plastics/Chemistry/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in experience. * Application of Process Control concepts. * Analytical approach to problem solving. * 3 years practical experience with injection moulding and/or manufacturing engineering/quality engineering.
