Our client is seeking to recruit an Experienced Machine Operator reporting to the Production Manager, the ideal candidate should be mechanically minded. The vacancy involves operating large Mechanical Presses & packing the finished product for shipping. He/She should also have the ability to work in a busy environment and work on his/her own initiative & to the highest of quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities: The use & operation of mechanical presses in the manufacture of pressed metal components & prototypes. The use of various other production equipment including welding equipment required for the completion of various customer order. Maintaining quality records and company quality standards to meet with relevant industry specifications. Working with the tool room team, logistics, sales & purchasing teams to ensure accurate & timely delivery of customer orders. Skills Required: Ability to work to high specifications & quality requirements in production of pressings. Knowledge of and ability to operate machinery. Ability to keep accurate & detailed quality control records. Good Communication skills. Ability to check accuracy & quality of finished parts. Ability to show accuracy & attention to detail in work.
