Our client - A highly saught-after Employer in the North West is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Associate to join one of their teams on a Permanent basis. Responsibilities: Compute the proper premium based on enrolment data and contractual benefit information. Complete variance analysis - planned v actual premiums. Follow up on outstanding premiums. Assist Group Insurance with enhancing their administrative record-keeping practices.Conducts audits of Group Insurance clients to ensure the validity of the premiums paid to company and provides detailed review of client administration records and comparison to the plan of benefits. Responsible for general administrative duties for the audit team, including scheduling audits and providing performance feedback for the other members of the audit team. Additional ad hoc requests and project work as required. Requirements: Strong analytical, organisation and written/verbal communication skills. Strong time management & project management skills. Ability to be organised, flexible, prioritise tasks and work in a deadline oriented environment. Self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative with the minimum of supervision. Self-motivated and proactive, with great attention to detail. Demonstrates continual process improvement in assigned responsibilities. Experience: Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or pursuing an accounting qualification. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Access. General knowledge of the insurance industry and Group Insurance experience an advantage.
